The Sennheiser MKH416 has been a fixture among shotgun microphones for 50 years. It's still regularly used in film and television today.
Neumann GFM132, Schoeps BLM03 Cg, and Shure Beta 91A are three boundary microphones that were developed for different purposes and therefore have different areas of application.

A real alternative to the dummy head is the Schoeps KFM6 sphere microphone, which scores particularly well with loudspeaker reproduction and reproduces spatial depth in a remarkable way. A large, acoustically favorable room is required. It can also be used as a stereo field microphone for lifelike outdoor recordings.
The Sennheiser Ambeo VR Mic, on the other hand, is probably the easiest way to make 360° recordings.

For calibrating and measuring rooms, you can rent the Microtech Gefell MV225 P48 measurement microphone with MK221 capsule from us. For room calibration of the Neumann KH120-II studio monitor from our range, we offer the Neumann MA-1 Monitor Alignment System. This also includes a corresponding measurement microphone.
